wats in ur basement????

Buffalo is this sleepy lil city... I wouldn't have thought for once there was room for queer in this place. While reading through cnn.com earlier today...
this is what I came across...

Talk about being a lover of exotic beasts!!!

I dont understand people having snakes or gators as 'pets', the way I see it a pet is like ur friend...an animal that can be a source of comfort, inducing a sense of warmth and love. I cant imagine how a snake or a gator can do that... agreed that they are fascinating creatures in their own way... but I would rather have a dog that runs to me and licks me all over when I get back home.. than a hungry gator that doesn't know who I am.. or to whom I mite look like a nice juicy piece of meat!

the ride of a lifetime!!!!

I came across this link while checking out the news...

http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/06/10/coaster.scare.ap/index.html

I can only imagine how that must have felt... i can still remember just about exactly how i felt during all my rides in six flags.. it took some talking to get me to actually go for the free fall... i wonder how it would have been left there hanging for half hour and then bham!

Wonder if any of them would get on a roller coaster again... if i was one .. i wouldn't!!!

the vacation...

Right after graduation.. for a glorious week and a half I was vacationing in Atlanta, Georgia.. what a break!!!!

For someone from Buffalo, Atlanta is quite a treat to the eyes... the city, the suburbs, its as similar to buffalo as black is to white :) the malls, the sky rises, the highways... i fell in love with it the moment i stepped out... oh did i mention the number of Indian restaurants there :p

my friends and I did what every student who hasn't had a proper vacation in months would do... tire ourselves out having fun... our day would start around 9.00 in the morning(sometimes as early as 11), Indian restaurant for brunch/lunch, shop, explore the city, another Indian restaurant ;), movie/pub in the night, head back home, yet another movie which would end with us falling asleep in the first 20 minutes :)

six flags over Atlanta took up an entire day and man was it fun or what!!! didn't think i would ever muster up the courage to get to the free fall.. and I ended up doing more than that.. enjoyed it actually!!! georgia cyclone... and Goliath once through... left us dizzy in the head... not to mention the heat playing villain!!! Bottles of water and 10 mins of posing for a caricature done... ended a picture perfect day...

steady 85/90 on the highway the next day, a university town (clemsen), a subway and a lake once through.. back to Atlanta...two days... three malls.. and a sated appetite for the latest summer collections!

simply splendid sunny vacation...

raising my glass to anu n arvind!!! miss u guys already!
