graduation...

Awrite... so I graduated.. and what a journey it has been... masters in computer science... feels good to say that :)

My walk was this past saturday... and it was nothing like what I had imagined it to be... initially I was all excited to take the walk... then over time I dismissed it as nothing but a walk... then came the D-day... just getting into that gown left me trembling all over... I actually woke up at 7.30 in the morning just out of sheer excitement and anyone who knows me that even for work I would choose not to get up that early :D

Even the cold buffalo winds couldn't dampen my spirits that day... to top it all a call from mom n dad n tk made it super special :) finally when the called my name, or I should say attempted to call out my name... they didnt even get half way through and I was already off the stage... cant blame them what with Sindhujah Viswanathan Thyagarajan!!!

What really made the day special... was a feeling that I had actually accomplished something that my parents n tk will be proud of! Inspite of everything I came out on top... and yeah after two years and a degree... I am a changed person!!!

Sind.. sind.. sindhujah.. vish vish... :)

falls and gardening and golf.....

I seem to have a habit of posting every monday... for want of something better to do at work perhaps ;)

Mondays are exactly my favorite day of the week... i love the weekends and everything that we do over the course of the two days... lazy yet effective in a way that has a certain appeal!!!

Saturday past I dragged the guys along to Akron falls.. dragged literally... coz one of them simply enjoys the couch more than anything else! (no offense...luv) anyway... this is a recount of the good times ... first the drive to the falls was scenic... way out of the city limits... peaceful and quiet... and before I forget it was a simply gorgeous day... sun kissing our faces all along... the falls was impressive... a small walk.. and ahem! a fall on the rocks by yours truly made it more eventful... braving everything I still managed to climb down onto to the rocks.. and wanted to follow the guys to reach behind the falls... but then again... it just happened that I was inappropriately dressed... jeans doesn't exactly allow for all kinda monkey-like activities you know... so settled for staying halfway through (hey i made it that far)... on a rock and took pictures and a very entertaining video of a certain someone!!!! :)

having - I'm going to take the liberty to say 'conquered' the falls... we got back up.. yeah yeah there was the authorities warning the guys not to go any further...we walked upstream.. to reach a beautiful park.. and the swing lover that i am... got onto one of the swings.. and with the wind rushing through our hair... and lapping at our faces.. with the set of dusk.. it felt like we were flying ... just about perfect... the guys were more than happy I got them to go!!!!

Come Sunday... we decided to tend to the garden... I always thought I preferred interiors to gardening but man was I wrong! Armed with clippers I had a go at one old tree.. and damn did i feel good or what!!!! after hours of clipping.. raking and moving.. the back yard was a pleasant treat indeed.. of course one can never do enough gardening... the next week... has work cut out for us.... Sunday night ended with all of us heading to play golf... not the big game.. the outdoor golf... it was super fun... I was enjoying a game that I always claimed dint make any sense...

I guess anything that we do with the right set of people makes it special... be it gardening.. golf or a beautiful falls.. its not the place that is etched in the memory... but the laughs and the feeling of good!!!

bro do u have a bride to spare???!!!

I came across this article yesterday... it left me in splits! figured it deserves an entry here... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18389704/?GT1=9246

what made me laugh so hard was the line...'the brother readily agreed'!!!

first the guy turns up drunk for his marriage.. then hes worried about the story being leaked out and how it would hamper any further prospects of marriage... as much as I'm tempted to say something here... :)

i wonder what the girl must have thought... going into marriage with someone and ending up marrying his brother... from her perspective.. i think its horrendous!!! as for the men... well.. no comments!!!

PS: I'm not a chauvinistic person.. but i cant seem to think a woman would ever do this!!! ;)
